I have a four year old Staff and have been with esure ever since we have had her. Never had a dog before so don't know much when it comes to a good insurance. Is anyone else with esure and have you been treated well by them? Should I go with someone else? Just worrying now as she gets older as haven't got the money to pay out if something happens.

Not sure about esure, but generally as a rule Petplan are one of the best, but probably most expensive. I pay £23 monthly for my mutt - crossbreed, but only a pup.

A good thing to look for is lifetime cover, so if she were to develop say, diabetes or heart disease - something she needs medication long term for then she will be covered for life. As opposed to a policy year, or until your budget runs out. (£4000 per condition etc)

Bear in mind if you do change insurers, they will exclude any pre-existing conditions she has already been treated for/noted by vet.

Thanks for the advise Sebastian. I think I may go with Pet Plan if the price works out ok. She has not had any illnesses since a pup so think I should be ok there.
Is any one else with Petplan or esure? Would stay with esure if they are good enough. I just can't find any reviews to know if they are that good.
