Just bought a Golf which I am thrilled with but need to sort out how my Cocker Spaniel with travel.

We also have a CRV and he travels brilliant.y in a crate but the crate is too big for the golf and he will only be doing relatively short journeys say 45 mins max but mostly less than 30 to the woods, beach etc.

I would prefer a soft carrier but the square ones seem to be a bit big but have wondered about a harness?

I don't have a golf but our staffie travels in the car with a doggy seat belt attached to his harness.

he loves it - well, he doesn't actually realise he is attached but he likes being able to sit up and see out.

My Goldie goes in the back seat of my Jetta with a doggy seatbelt as well. He likes looking out the window.

Safedog.co.uk crates for us ... we have used harnesses in the past but prefer the safety of the crates.

Mine just lays on the passenger seat, but she's only tiny.
