I need a light rain coat for my daushund, I found this
shop.spaws.co.uk/__product.asp?PT_ID=23&numRecordPosition=&strProduct=Duck_Egg_Blue_Raincoat&P_ID=453
but as it's lined I'm worried it may be too warm for him at the minute. He's my first, can you tell?Smile

My dog has an Equafleece coat and Equafleece jumper which surprisingly keep him dry ( they don't look waterproof) ,I work on the theory that if its too warm to wear them then he goes naked and gets wet .

We had a Dachshund in Germany where winter was -18 for months and in summmer we had lots of rain. She never wore a coat and no other dogs did either. Their coats are weather proof and their blood temperature 1 degree higher than ours.
Don't worry, so long as they are moving, they shake the rain off them.
Shouldn't bath dogs too often as it destroys the oil in their coats which protects them.
