Orvis dog beds - anyone got them?

Having got up this morning to find another dog bed shredded in the kitchen by junior golden lab, in the post arrived the Orvis catalogue. I have used them before for toys. There is a bed that is guaranteed chew proof - v v v expensive - but could be worth it if it lasts. Anyone got this or similar and can give advice? Thanks.

I would LOVE one, but mine also can't be trusted with beds so have held off for now.

My BF has loads which still look like new (and a couple must be 7 years old + ) so on that respect I'd say they were worth it. She has well behaved dogs though who don't feel the need to shred everything :sigh: so I don't know how durable they are.

In fact, never mind the dog, I'd have one for me.

While my labs were puppies they had cheap beds with even cheaper vet bed underneath, and a few old towels etc as they destroyed their beds regularly but after about 18 months old they stopped this and then I went out and bought them the expensive beds.

I have heard great things about Orvis but they are very expensive and I am not sure I would take the risk on a lab puppy, as mine would go through the "guaranteed to last a minimum of one hour" chews in under5 minutes!!! Confused

What you need is the Tuffies chew proof dog bed, google will bring it up, I have also seen it in action. Think lab that chewed a plastic bed and door frames/walls. This dog bed she tried and failed to demolish, well worth the money!!
