My nearly 2 year old dog has got suddenly very frisky, dragging his blanket into the lounge and humping it. (He likes an audience) He was like this before being neutered which was a year ago, and then it stopped. Is there any reason for this change in behaviour?

Is there any way I can stop him ?

Dogs hump for all sorts of reasons including excitement, stress and because it feels good. Anything changed for him recently?

Thanks for replying, I can't think of anything except maybe kids going back after the long summer. It's just weird the way it's suddenly started after so long of not doing anything!. They're here today and all is quiet on the wanking front thank goodness Grin I should keep a wank diary to spot any patterns

My dog gets an energy rush after food and humps his bed. He isn't bothering anyone so we let him get on with it. This article is about dogs mounting other dogs but shows the reasons they do it www.dogster.com/lifestyle/dog-behavior-training-5-reasons-hump-other-dogs
