Help please - dogs lost Wiltshire

Hi, I need help please. Our 2 Boxer dogs have gone missing from Bramshaw Woods near Salisbury, Wilts.

My husband was walking them yesterday evening and they just shot off and never returned. It's unlike them not to come back and he waited in the same spot for half an hour before moving to try and find them. We searched until 1.30am and he has just gone back out now as the sky is getting light.

They are a red and white Boxer dog called Harry who is almost 3 and Boris, a brindle Boxer who is only just 7 months.

I have tweeted links to the Doglost poster I have created, called last night and registered it on the 101 number. Will call dog warden this morning and start calling vets too.

I just can't understand where they have gone and there is just no sign of them. It's heartbreaking, we only just moved into the area almost 2 months ago and so they don't really know it. There are busy roads which they are not used too. I can't stop crying and I don't know what to say to the children when they wake up.

They are both microchipped and had tags on.

These are missing posters from Dogslost:

Please, if you know anyone around this area can you pass it on and any other advice on who to contact would be great.

Thank you.

Are they microchipped? Have you posted on Facebook? So sorry you are going through this - hope they return soon x

Carty80 · 21/09/2013 05:48

Yes they are microchipped. I'm not on FB but have asked my sister and her boyfriend to post links of poster to their walls. Will start emailing friends to post to their walls too. Thank you, I just hope they are together still as Boris is so little at least if he is with Harry he might not be so scared.

You must be frantic. They look like wonderful dogs - I really hope you find them very soon.

Carty80 · 21/09/2013 06:25

Thank you, they are great dogs. The kids are starting to wake up so will get them dressed and say we are going on an early family walk and the dogs are at their Grannies!

At least it's dry where we are and not too cold but they will be hungry as not had their dinner last night Sad

My husband has just walked in with them!! They just walked out the forest together casually in front of his car! They are very tired but ok. I think lead walks for a while. Thank you.
