My youngest BC who is my only crate trained collie is getting more and more peculiar. My daughter gave her a leftover sandwich (norty) and she ran off with it to her crate and some fell outside
and instead of stepping out of the open crate (!!) and getting the bit that had fell, she stayed inside her crate and dug at the side and tried to stick her tongue out through the bars (???) for quite a while...even the other dog was confused so much she just sat and watched instead of chasing white bread

(and she is not in there excessively, it's open and I am at home :) , she just decides to go in there a lot!)
