I can't afford £150. If needs be I'll have to save up but I'd like to get him one soon. Has any one found a similar, good quality bed for less? He's a large Greyhound so I know a bed won't be cheap, (at the minute he sleeps on 2 duvets but I'm sick of him digging them and dragging them around the room and me putting them back together) but I would like to try my best to get him a decent one at a good price :o

I am no good with links, but found similar looking beds at zooplus.co.uk

The Cozie measures 96cm x 63cm x 28.
Zooplus 100cm x 75 x 25cm
120cm x 95 x 28cms.
DREAMBAY.

Pet planet have a Kingpets dog sofa in the sale , it may be slightly smaller but its less than £20 so maybe worth a look . (Sorry I can't do links )

Anyone have anymore suggestions?

I'm no help at all Cunny.

I drool over the Orvis range of dog beds but I'd need to win the lottery to afford any of them.

Can you put the duvets inside a cover?
If you sewed some ties or strong press-studs on them to fasten them together at the corners then put them in the cover so he couldn't get to chew them?

You could buy a flannel one for winter?

Be alot easier to wash too, as you could take it all apart and wash / dry each piece?

I thought about that 70 but he likes to snuggle down and make a nest out of them, which is why I'd like to get him a bed with sides.

I can't sleep so I've been thinking. It wouldn't be difficult to make a bed would it? A real good, sturdy one out of wood or plyboard. DP's brother is a joiner so getting some stuff to do it will be simple enough. Make a rectangular frame with a cut out at the front, and I have a good size memory foam offcut I can line the inner walls with. All I'd need is a decent cover for it. Maybe some thick fleece? And a cozy mattress for him to lie on.
