BDog just growled and bit my hand Hmm inhibited bite and didn't break the skin but still.

This is the same BDog that bit the other dog a few weeks ago, this has got much better btw and she is almost not reacting to other dogs etc.

I was doing high 5 etc with DD (aged 4) and she was giggling etc. we were in the doorway to the kitchen and BD just came up, growled and nipped. What's that about?

She is very attached to me and DD and hasn't done anything like that before Shock

Did she think you were fighting? My spaniel will intervene if the DC are playing/wrestling by tugging at their clothes to separate them. He's like a bouncer.

I would say protecting your dd - my very no aggressive dog will do this sort of thing if children are involved - they don't really know the difference between real v play fighting
