Fleas!

My dog has fleas, how do I get rid of them?

I have flea sprayed the whole house with Bob Martin, I flea shampooed her, then applied Frontline. About five days later I also applied Advocate that I got on prescription from the vet. Advocate was applied on the 29th Aug, she still has fleas.

What do I do now? Can I apply more Advocate yet?

Sprays for the house will kill a certain stage of the flea lifecycle but you can still gets eggs hatching out which can then hop on your dog again.
All of the spoton treatments take quite a long time, often up to 24 hrs to kill fleas once they hop on so you can still see adult fleas on your dog, they may go on to die but can cause itching and irritation before they do.
Also many of the spotons don't work effectively if the dog has been recently shampooed, you need to wait at least 48hrs before putting frontline on after washing. The more the dog is washed/gets wet in the rain/swimming etc afterwards the less effective the product can go on to be.
I wouldn't reapply the Advocate, it could actually be working, just slower than you would like, but anyway it's not licenced to be applied more frequently.
Ask your vet about "Comfortis" ,it's a tablet you give monthly that works in a different way so it doesn't matter what you've used already, you could give it straight away. It kills fleas within an hour and goes on doing that for 4 weeks. It's relatively new in the UK but apparently is the topselling flea treatment in the USA and Australia, we've been using it on our dogs and it seems to work well.
