Who was it who mentioned the Many Tears rescue people?? Stand up and make yourself known! I thought I'd just 'have a look'...which led me to Orla, an ex-breeding lab, and now DH and I are having a discussion about whether Pooch would like a doggy housemate, do we have space for another big dog, etc etc! Noooooooo! desperately want to bring her home

Stop it! One dog's more than enough work fun....but then there's those big, sad eyes...

I keep thinking about getting a second dog, think it would be lovely to have two. Still a bit unsure about it though, and as I have an elderly cat now is not the time anyway. Tend to keep away from rescue sites.

So are we going to see you on here in the next week or so Onwards, telling us you're soon to collect your new dog?:)

Just read her story - she sounds lovely...sounds like she'd blossom a "real" home with a friendly pal to curl up with and go on walks together, after all those years being a breeding machine.

Horrible to see that just in the last few days they've had about 30 new dogs who were used for breeding, god knows how many puppies are churned out from just those 30, let alone from all the other breeders.

Sorry for the radio silence; have been away camping (and took Pooch for the first time - that was an experience! )...DCs and me say yes, DH says you must be joking no , ho hum, it was just a thought...
