tried cooled boiled salted water?
is that enough.?

It's more than likely conjunctivitis...so vets for eye drops.

You can use goldeneye from the chemist. Its what humans use for conjuntivitis; my vet approves this. I have pugs and they get sticky eye quite a lot. If it doesn't clear up 24 hours go to the vet. You'll soon know when to go or not, after the first 10 or so times of emergency vet dashes. Pfb

Hmm - I wouldn't without knowing for definite, there could be something in there for instance.

If you've got a dog you know is prone to it and has had it before, that's different, but I wouldn't self treat it the first time just in case it was something else.

rang vets, who didn't have an appointment but did suggest cold tea,
and this has done the trick!
