I thought my miniature poodle was doing well. I have worked on recall by calling her back lots and giving a treat
She is now 15 months old and is going too far when off the lead. She turns deaf and can be 3 fields away. She will jump walls, I have kept her away from sheep because she would chase anything that ran so will go after rabbits
She comes back eventually so I praise her for that but I am now getting worried about letting her off a long lead in case she goes onto a road or into a field with animals
How do I let her know how far she can go?
She does take a long time to grasp anything but with this is seems she thinks what the hell I'll keep going
Would a whistle help?
