Tips on keeping the dog safe from a crawling, standing baby!

I spent most of yesterday rescuing her from him, poor thing! He yells "doggy" then launches himself at her! She loves him, but is finding this a big scary, and I spent a lot of time saying 'No!'. At the moment, she's taken refuge on our bed, but I'm sure that won't last forever. When he's big enough in comparison to her (she's only small), was thinking of making her a den with a dog-sized hole as an entrance (she's tiny, just bigger than a chihuahua). He's obsessed with her water bowl too, and it's hard to know where to put it so she can have some but he can't tip it up! Any tips gratefully received!

Crate one of them ;)

A doggy den sounds fab, I saw a pin interest thing where they had made the sloped under stairs bit into a dog palace.could you have a covered carrier boxed in so doggy can access but DS can't and also can't bang on it?

Have supervised dog stroking sessions to for fill his need for her attention?

A cat door into another room?

Water is a hard one, maybe in her boxed in bit?

If you get a crate you get bowls that hook onto the side. Or if you don't use one - it might still be handy to know those bowls exist, lol.
