Ringworm in dogs

I have noticed a circular lesion on my dogs tummy and think it is ringworm. We will take her to the vet tomorrow to check it out and if it is ringworm what treatment is prescribed and is it contagious?

Very Contagious !
BUT..........
I bought a horse with ringworm and was treated like I had the plague by all my animal owning friends, stuff from the vet cleared up the ringworm very easily (except try washing a horse in February !) and neither I or any of my other animals caught it.
Don't worry your vet will advise.
