Crabbing hook :(

I went to my sisters for a cuppa today ...

Turned into an expensive drama.

She had crabbing buckets in the garden with the string with hooks attached .. my pup got hold of one, hook stuck in her gum.

We tried to unhook it but it wouldn't budge and if we pulled to hard she yelped ... So trip to vets where they had to put her under to cut it and thread it though (it was barbed) .. £90 later I have a hook free pup

It's an expensive mistake isn't it? I had a rottie do the same thing thiugh it went through his lip. Fortunately he was a robust character who quite amiably allowed us to cut the barb off and pull the hook out.
Glad your pup is ok now though :)
