The DC have outgrown paddling pools, so now it has been acquired by the mutts. Jas can regularly be seen dragging himself around it on his belly, creating a whirlpool. The pup can't climb in by himself, but stands in it looking bewildered at his bendy feet if you put him in. My friend came around this morning with her dog, and it wasn't long before he had also discovered the delights of getting fully saturated and then shaking all over the humans. It was like a teen pool party, but more dignified

Yep, mine does! I bought him one of those rigid plastic ones that splits in two, half for sand and half for water. He has spent more time in our pool though because it is bigger and deeper.

I filled the bottom if the guinea pig indoor cage up with water and both pup and dog have been rolling around in it. Pimmsdog prefers the hose pipe though, even let me put shampoo on him yesterday he had an outdoor bath

Our bulldog loves nothing more than lying on a big pile of ice on a hot day. Then he eats it.

Dusty dog isn't fond of the hosepipe but has been tolerating it as it's so hot. He too is enjoying a diet of ice cubes.

If by pool you mean a large, deep puddle that never drains because I can't be arsed to go and clear all the dead leaves and crud from the gutter, then yes, if not then no, but they do have a large washing up bowl I fill with ice water and they're only small, so they can fit in it if they wish to.

Mine has a pool and a sandpit and we are going swimming in the sea this evening !

I'm desperately trying to get hold of a pool for ArseDog, but everywhere I've tried seems to be sold out.

Mind you, if I do find one, it'll be like doing a rain dance, won't it? The weather will change back to normal British summer weather and we'll have to get the woolies out again.

Ours has my daughters old plastic square sandpit, she is often found paddling, and loves me to throw her ball in, and she blows bubbles retrieving it!
