Dogs and car journeys...

I have to take a dog on a 4 hour car journey during the day today- there is no way (and believe me, I've tried to think of one)- I can avoid it.

My car has sort of air conditioning. We will make frequent stops. Anything else I can do? She'll be in a travelling cage.

Plenty of water and take food/treats. I am taking my dog a round trip of 4-5 hours tomorrow. I don't expect it to be an issue.

Thank you. The 4 hour journey turned into an 8 hour one- thanks, M25! But we all survived. The dog better than me!

That's good. I am just up and preparing for my day of travel with the dog. It looks like it is gearing up to be a hot day so i suspect lots of stops will be needed.
