Puppy goes MENTAL when I use an electric whisk - what to do?

I bake quite a bit, and we've not had the pup for long - turns out he's not crazy about me using the whisk! He's wagging his tail but running up to me and barking excessively.

Do I need to shut him out and do it when he's not around or just push on so he gets used to it, any ideas? (And I guess this applies for any other appliances it turns out might have issues with, i.e. the vacuum cleaner etc.!) Grin

Carry on, he'll get used to it!

You can counter condition him to associate the sound of the mixer with positive things happening.

This video shows you how.

This video explains how to avoid the pitfalls of counter-conditioning.
