I can't offer any extra advice, but you have my sympathy. Ddog1 has had one shower this week (because she rolled in silage) and ddog2 has had two showers - one for rolling in the aforementioned silage, and the second one for rolling in horse poo.

Her best exploit to date has been rolling in half a very dead seal on Stevenston beach! She smelled so bad that even ddog1 (a labrador, ergo a fan of stinky) wouldn't sit anywhere near her, and she had two washes in the garden, with shampoo and the garden hose before I would even let her in the house, and even then she needed a shower to finally rid her of the hum!

STDG thanks for the sympathy Smile

My lovely stinky boy is in the garden and quite happy, perhaps the "airing" will help?

It might help, or it might allow the smell to really sink in.

Mine rolled in fox poo last week. It wasn't just a little bit either, right across both shoulders and half way down his back.

I donned a rubber glove and rubbed tomato ketchup well in. The really cheap own brand kind. I made him stay outside for about 3/4 hour and then washed him with Fox Poo Shampoo. It really works and gets rid of the smell.

Before when I washed him with ordinary shampoo the fox poo smell still lingers, but it didn't this time.

Hello I will I so feel your pain I have a tiny adorable cute looking terrier with a disgusting habit. I really looked into how to prevent the rolling and to be honest nothing has worked for me I have caught her doing it and she will stop but she just has such a strong instinct to do it that is her and she loves it, she is pretty perfect in every other way so I have adapted to her after months of cursing and now she has special shampoo wahl dirtie beastie is the best and smells amazing one wash needed only and no problem with her sensitive skin. She has her own towels from asda that are ready and waiting after a walk next to the bath with her own shower attachment that we installed for 115 quid. Thank god she only weighs 10 lbs so easy to wash and dry, still not quite ok with scrubbing fox pooh off her collar though...good luck
