Bought the dog a Kong Wubba at the Dogs Unleashed show today as it looked sturdy and made out of heavy duty fabric.

He snoozed when we got in and woke up about half an hour ago. He pinned the bloody thing to the floor and has removed an ear. I know this will now continue until he has shredded it's face

My terrier is the same ,I have yet to find a terrier proof toy !

Judyandherdreamofhorses · 23/06/2013 21:14

Bones. The only way!

fanoftheinvisibleman · 23/06/2013 21:19

He is BARF fed so he gets loads of bones and has stag bars but he loves animal type toys.

I am starting to agree that terriers and fabric are a lost cause

Mine loves animal type toys too ,but only because he wants to rip their heads off and pretend that they are the neighbours cats!

fanoftheinvisibleman · 23/06/2013 21:25

I've mentioned before that mine spends time with my mums cat and is down the pecking order (he won't walk in front of her) so I think he channels instead!

Bought two King Bounzas yesterday friends Staffie has had his for ages, so thought they would be good for Little Staffie and Big Staffie.

Last an hour [sigh]

MagratGarlik · 23/06/2013 22:07

Totally off-topic, we went to that show today too

fanoftheinvisibleman · 23/06/2013 22:19

We really enjoyed it. Ds nearly passed out at excitement at the terrier racing!

And my apologies if you were harrassed by an annoying overly enthusiastic gangly teenage BT! He was a little tricky to keep calm in the face of so much doggy excitement!

We got there quite late on, so lots of the traders were already starting to pack away. Our dogs had a go on the lure-course though, but one refused to run Blush.

fanoftheinvisibleman · 24/06/2013 21:34

We saw a fair few of those through the day! That is why I declined when the chap tried to get us to enter the terrier racing - I know my daft pup would have been skipping around bouncing on everyone elses heads rather then chasing!

Wish I had seen.

Freddog chews plastic. Any plastic.

mrsjay · 25/06/2013 11:56

oh Jay dog kills toys his latest one just has an arm left which he flings about gleefully then lies on it , We just give him tennis balls he does love a ball and bones I know dogs love killing ragging on things but he destroys them in seconds

fanoftheinvisibleman · 25/06/2013 16:55

I do know what you mean with a shudder mrsjay...I went to put the washing out the other day and found poor princess fiona (shrek) laying in the grass with eyes removed and her dress round her neck! I had to rearrange the poor girl before I could go back in!
