Hi so advice please.

We have two Viszla's, brothers. They are 20 months old.
The one wakes at 5.30 every morning and just whines until one if us goes down. He doesn't necessarily want to go out for a wee just wants to know we are there. The other one is as good as gold.
We have tried ignoring him, going down and telling him to be quiet then going back to bed but he just carries on. It is hard work and very tiring.
Does anyone have any advice as to how we break this routine.
They sleep in crates and have done since pups Di this is something they are used to.

Thanks

What time are you giving them their last meal?

Confusedandfedup · 20/06/2013 10:39

Get some ear plugs and ignore the dog completely.

If there is a reason for him waking up early he shouldn't be ignored.

Confusedandfedup · 20/06/2013 11:48

It's summer and gets light very early. this is likely to be a reason

4.30 pm is when they are last fed.

Maybe try pushing the last meal back til six? He might just be hungry.
