Has anyone been to Dogs Unleashed show in Bakewell?

I really fancy it but wondered if anyone had been? It would be at least an hours drive so need ammunition to persuade dh!

I last went two years ago and it's a decent day out but I wouldn't drive for any more than an hour for it, IYSWIM.

We were there to meet the foster mum of our newest rescue addition, she was going as part of the Siberian Husky Welfare stand/display team and it would have otherwise been a long trek so we split the journey to meet there and did a couple of hours each. Would normally be competing in the agility there but dog #1 only had surgery 12 weeks ago and isn't ready yet.

Apart from that there was also flyball, coursing, fun dog show etc. and a few good trade stands.

Thanks Toboldly go. We would be coming from South Yorkshire (probably furthest side!). I'm not expecting it to be huge but thought we might enjoy it as we are after doggy friendly out from now on.

Went last year. Mud bath, but everyone seemed to be having a good time. Admission is fairly cheap, which helps.

We have wellies and a dog who may have been a hippo in a former life so that is not a worry. Thanks.
