We have finally made the decision! We are going to get a cocker spaniel! We need to move so realistically this wont be until the beginning of next year / the summer, but Id like to check I'm prepared plus DH bored stiff of talking to me about it

So... I have kept the breed before, but some years ago. Plenty of exercise and stimulation, secure garden, socialising and training are all already on the radar.

Do any of you have a recommendation for a breeder in hampshire area? Or rather whole south end o the country? Id rather travel than inadvertently support a puppy farm!

Also any tips on training the children? Ive experience but they haven't! DS1 will be 4-5 DS2 will be 1.5-2... DS1 has been around dogs but not at the puppy stage

Ahhh. Good luck. I have Labradors so can't advise. Thrilled for you though-a special time.

If its a working you are after we currently have a 13 wk pup from a local breeder in Dorset that I would happily recommend to you :)
