Ok, this is grim, but...fluffy dog arses

New pup has a very curly/fluffy coat. I have scissor trimmed around his bum as much as I dare, but he still comes in from a poo with Klingons. His poo seems firm enough when I pick it up, maybe a little soft, but nothing to worry about. He eats well (Burns mini bites) and is full of energy. He just has this unfortunate habit of running in with his last meal chasing him. How do I manage the fluffy arse/poo nugget thing? Is it just baby wipes all the way?

Pup squats, craps a bit, falls sideways like a drunk, staggers back into position, poos some more, and then stands upright before the last cable has been laid. So bum, feet and possibly legs are 'gifted'.

Our dog, growing up, used to wipe her bum. In fact I think one of mine does it sometimes too. She'd sit and then use the front legs to drag herself along, back paws raised, scraping her arse on the grass.

Oh, Jas does that. He looks at me while he does it. It means 'Don the gloves, slave. My anal glands need squeezing.'

My girl is a poodle cross and has a very pooey bum on occasions. I have her groomed every 6 weeks. I always ask the groomer to cut her close around her anal area, just to be sure. I have been caught out once and DH has been caught out once with the poo from hell.

The last time it happened to me I was in the local park, had taken her in the car, so had to put an old towel in the car and bring her home. My car stunk of poo for ages after.

I lugged her straight into the shower and, using rubber gloves, I started pulling the poo away in chunks. Yum! It was in our wet room, so she had lots of space to run around. I was nekkid, so I didn't have to worry about getting wet!! I suspect it would have made interesting poo porn...or probably not!

I suppose a rinse down after every poo when getting home, but a close cut bum hole area is essential with fluffy bum dogs.
