or is it not the done thing to do?
My vet is perfectly fine and the treatment we receive is very good, I have absolute no issue with it except for the expense (it was a private practice but is now part of medivet) compared to previous vets I have used it seems a lot more expensive.
I have had another vet recommended to me (vets4pets actually)which is further away in the next larger town but it's still within comfortable driving distance. Is it okay to ring them to compare quotes? or do you feel it's better to always stick with the same practice? I don't think the vets at my current practice have necessarily built a good relationship with my dogs as they see a different vet every time anyway (although as I say the care has always been fine)
I would just like a bit of advice really. I have only ever changed before due to moving house/area and unfortunately one of my vets committed suicide :(
