Stinky springer

2 year old springer reeks more than normal. He had his anal glands done on Friday and has had a bath. Any ideas what might be making him so whiffy? Haven't changed his food or anything, his bedding is clean.

It really is unbearable!

Has he rolled in something? Fox poo makes mine stink to high heavens!

Have you checked his teeth? Sometimes a rotten tooth or impacted food can really stink.

No rolling. And his mouth looks fine as far as I can tell.

Is a trip to the groomer in order (he's never been)? Or is it the vets?

Ears? What does he smell like?

I can't describe it, chickens. I thought it was his anal
glands and had them done last week. They were full, apparently, and did need doing. But now it's... Um... I don't know. Maybe very, very intense 'dog'. I don't think it's his coat. And he swims practically every day (in a clean river!)

Could he have an ear infection? Will the vet think I'm mad for taking him and saying he stinks? DH thinks he will!
