At what age will it show? We have a whippet cross (4 months old) and obviously they are reputed to have a high prey drive, at what age will this be apparent?
He isn't the slightest interested in cats, indifferent is his attitude there. We do let him off lead, but not in areas with lot's of people/dogs because his recall isn't really great yet. Thinking of getting a whistle to train recall with.
He pretty much sticks with us when off lead, but don't want to get cocky if the prey drive emerges with puberty or something
