Hey all,

Picking a name for our soon to arrive dog is proving harder than naming children.
He will be a working dog so will need a short snappy name.
As he's and English springer it's traditionally English old man names we're looking at.

Suggestions so far...

Ted
Alf
Freddie
Shay

What do you think? Please inspire me.

You'vecattobekiddingme, I think you mentioned Jerry first. DH has wanted that from day one and thinks it'll work well to call.

Ralph/Ralphie

His name is Jerry!

I was still swaying towards Alf but DH will be working him and decided Jerry worked best. The pun on Jerry springer didn't click with him at all. Itbticklesme a bit still.

Such a nice pup. I hope he's as good as his dad (our other springer, not DH :) )
