My dogs seem chuffed the children have gone back to school today

they have both had mammoth walks and are both stretched out in the sun in the dining room as if they are exhausted by the last few weeks events

oh the peace and quiet

Mine went back yesterday and me and my dog felt exactly the same!

Yep - our puppy is like 'ah, great, just you and me again Mum'

He slept until 12pm yesterday after his walk with no bugger disturbing him

Aww my puppy is the opposite. I struggle to find places safe to let him off lead when I am on my own without him causing mayhem for everyone else as local wood leaves you too isolated for me to dare alone though I don't know why I feel safer with a 7 year old

He misses having someone who will get him all hyper. If we ever walk near school in day he tries to drag me there!
