Anyone else's pup show no interested in dog toys

Will play with my kids outdoor stuff like skipping ropes even the swingball! But put a handful of dog toys in front of her and she's not interested but she does love a bit of paddy whack to chew on

He is now at 8 months but when he was little his favourite things were cardboard to rip up and whole carrots to gnaw.

Do you use the toys to play with her? I'm no expert but afair toys are good to use for training (practising 'fetch' or grab and chew in our case).
In my limited experience dogs are unlike, say, cats, who'll 'worry' a ball of wool or a toy like it's a dead mouse. They need human interaction.

Although our BT 'killed' any rat-like toys by systematically biting the eyes out when she was a puppy. She now manages to hold off from that for a bit and will carry them around like her babies!

That's what my Border does with soft toys now Shotgun...a quick game of tug and then he runs off and holds it down whilst he rips the face off..And it doesn't matter how big or odd the the shape is, he always rips the face out!

I had a dog that from birth to death 12.5 yrs later, the only thing he would play with was the odd stolen sock for about two minutes and then he got bored, no balls, no toys, yet his mother wanted to play ball half an hour after being in labour all night!!

I got my rescue when she was around 6 months old and she's never shown any interest in playing with toys unless it was to destruct them.
At the most she will chase a tennis ball but when it stops moving she's not interested. She quite likes cardboard rolls though.
My other dog I had from 13 weeks and she loves her toys so much. She even has a cuddly cat toy that she does not chew but licks it like its her baby.

I bought 3 more toys hoping to find the holy grail of toys to keep for recall training but I wouldn't say she really loved any I think I'm going to have to admit defeat for a while at least as they're expensive I think

Most Greyhounds don't 'do' toys either, but if they do it's usually a cuddly toy. My hound likes to shake them around giving 'em a good deddin!
