We have a 9, nearly 10, year old English springer spaniel, a 3ish year old springer cross probably some sort of pointer or setter and want to get a German short haired pointer pup. We had the 3 year old first and inherited my mums springer when she passed away last year. They get on fine now - sleep together, have a shared run and kennel when we go out etc - but the older dog was fairly aggressive towards our dog when he first moved in, mainly just to sort out pecking order.
I'm a bit worried that the older dog may be snappy with a pup - what's the best way to handle it?
