Just bought one to use on my JRT.

Honestly I could have combed her for hours instead I only did it for about 15 minutes.

How long and often should I do it?

I don't want to make her bald but I really want the shedding to reduce.

I bought one of these for my cats. They're really good aren't they? But like you I find the amount of hair coming off on the brush doesn't seem to go down and thereofre tell you when to stop. Luckily the cats will get annoyed and leave before I scalp them but I can see that a dog would sit and be brushed as long as you wanted it/told it to be.

Yes she was enjoying it very much

I'll do it again today and see what the effect is.
