Just to let everyone know due to such large numbers of dogs being given up to the Dogs Trust because of the owners expecting a baby they have got together to produce a leaflet. I have had a read it is full of excellent advice on integrating dog and baby. It also advises that you show the leaflet to your HV and midwife to show you are proactively managing the integration.
We will have copies available in our surgery to offer clients who are expecting a baby.
