Rehoming a whippet cross

My friend has asked me if I'd be interested in having hers! I'm so excited been looking for an adult whippet for a while & not having much luck. Always had dogs and worked in kennels for a long time but not much experience of whippets what do I need to know?

Don't know but my next dog is going to be a whippet I hope pictures please when he/she arrives!

Not sure what she's a cross of something with pointy ears she's very whippety currently gets out very little lives in a flat with no garden and alone all day. So not expecting any massive issues as she'll come in the car with me except when its too hot so only ever be on her own for an hour or two and I only work 3 days.

You'll need to work hard on recall, they may not do sit, and you'll need to find out about their prey drive. But they are one of the fastest couch potatos that you'll ever meet!

Yes the prey drive is not to be underestimated.

Runs arounds doing laps in the park curls up in bed like a cat very loving. A velcro dog.

Scariestfairy mines bright ginger has a squareish face corgi sticker up ears ( we nickname her batfinck) big dopey eyes but body is of a whippet and shes runs like one.

When we got her i took her to the vets and he said definantly cogri he laughed and said shes a fab looking dog odd looking but fab
