Best pet insurance

I'm about to get insurance for our dog but wondered if anyone could recommend or advise against any particular companies.
I'd like it to cover as much as possible. Dog is a 12 week old Siberian husky if that makes a difference.
Thanks.

I have just gone with John Lewis for my pup who I will be getting in 2 weeks. It's £22 per month, lifetime cover up to £7500 per year (and same for dental) with £60 excess. I shopped around and this seemed like the best deal to me (PetPlan was £30 per month, only covered up to £4,500 with £100 excess) and JL had good reviews from Which magazine and has been recommended on here. I am sure you can get cheaper still, but the cover is not as much and I thought JL was a good reliable "name" iyswim. HTH!

Oh that sounds great, thanks. I'll have a look now.

Pet plan is the best, most vets recommend it. They don't put the premiums up if you claim. In our vets we just fill in the forms at reception and they send them off. Quick payments.

Pet Insurance works for some, but not for others. Their coverages are very limited to age of pet or medical conditions. You may want to check out an alternative to pet insurance, called Pet Assure. They offer a great discount program at a low cost and can be used for all types of pets, any age, any pre-existing condition and as many times as needed. Hope this helps!
