Completely and utterly fabulous Grin . He's been with us for just over a week and is just starting to find his feet and show us his character . He is so loving which is remarkable considering what he has been through in his short life Sad.

He's 5 months old, a sheepdog cross and bright as a button. He's learned to do all sorts in a week. We start puppy school this week which I hope he will really enjoy. My other dog is a still a bit indifferent to him at the moment but he gives her space and I'm sure they will become best friends given time.

I know he will probably test me and I'll be on here asking for advice but for now he is perfect! I'm so glad we opted for rescue and could give this little man a good life.

Anyone got a happy rescue story to share?

He sounds lovely! Our "new" rescue dog, who is aged 9, has been with us since just before christmas and is a total sweetie ( except to some other dogs) even my mother concedes he is "not bad for a dog"

Hi
I rescued Cas at 6months old, she's now 13(ish). She is a border collie, blue Merle (mostly white) with two blue eyes. She was found as a stray in welsh mountains in a very poor state and was scared of everything, now shes a happy little girl and still fit as a fiddle! I did a video of her to celebrate her life a few years ago and to promote rescue dogs:

Congrats on your new addition there really is nothin more rewarding than a rescue dog!

Higgle your Mother sounds like mine so praise indeed

gina I watched your video and Cas is fantastic, you must be very proud of her and yourself! I would love to do agility and obedience with my boy, puppy school includes agility for pups so we'll see how we go on. So far though he is a pretty laid back kind of a person although he will do anything for food. He's pretty underweight due to being ill so we will be taking things slowly.

Our beautiful boy is just gorgeous, calm, gentle with the most friendly outgoing nature. Very trainable and just all round perfect. I won't mention the counter surfing

I had a wry smile when someone said to me the other day that he had a lovely temperament for a rescue dog Hmm
