Hi after reading the doggy day care thread it got me thinking what services like that may be near me (sunderland/Durham) that your lovely selves have used and would recommend that I'll keep for future reference.

When I was a teenager my my used to pup our dog in Tarrill kennels when we went on holiday. They were lovely and clean and I remember the lady being very nice. I will be using them myself if i ever need to put my pup in kennels. Not sure if they offer daycare though.

not sure what your thread was about but when we lived up there we used the kennels at heddon.

They are the best I have ever used but are sadly too far away to use now.

I have heard good things from a very very rich friend about some kennels further along the wall , maybe called Hadrians kennels but they are for pampered pets and cost ££ which I couldnt justify.

I shall google kennels at heddon and try and find the name and the other too as long as its not too £££

I found Home from Home near Heddon and Hadrian Pet Hotel

Home from Home is where we used as it was very local to us and the lady is lovely.

Thats the one 'Hadrian Pet Hotel' which I heard was very pricey but googling it myself it seems its only £13.50 which isnt so bad really.

That's what I thought too I have bookmarked them all but have to admit Tarrill is lots closer
