We really need to insure 2 of our dogs - want the 'for life' cover. I've done a quick on-line quote from PetPlan for around £46 a month (joint). What do you think of their cover ?

I have petplan - but I've found that unless something big happens. It's a bit pointless - has to be over £90 or something? My jackys leg got caught in bicycle spokes (it was horrendous) an being rushed to the vet, emergency appointments etc came to around £80 - a lot of money but under the amount the insurance covers iykwim. So it's a lot to pay each month when you may not need it. However, you are very well supported should the worst happen which is good to know. It's worth noting they don't cover anything to do with spaying or pregnancy in any form! HTH

Pet Insurance is very much an area where you get what you pay for. Pet plan is expensive, but it pays fast. They allow you to claim back over several years if you forgot. They keeping covering conditions no matter what. In 14 years I have never argued a claim with Pet Plan I have with every other company in the market.
