Half term days out with pooch in tow ideas?

Half term looming and dd off in sport camp today. Friend coming tomorrow so will take them to adventure playground then lunch out in park cafe.

Trying to think of other child and pooch friendly activities ESP for later in week when due to be freezing. Dd is 9, nearly 10 and reluctant to walk dog with me so I need to find ways of combining.

Any ideas?

Any beaches nearby ,you could do some rock pooling or beach combing .

Posted too soon , write out a list of things to find either on the beach or in a wood that gives your daughter something to do whilst you walk . Can be all sorts of things like a black stone , white stone , forked stick , pointy leaf etc.

How about geocaching?

NT good. Also check your local authority - many do things like guided walks/activities in parks etc.
