Puppy with bad breath

Blush It's rather smelly, went from being fishy to just stinky. She is on Symply, only has a few other high end treats and I give her a dentastix every other day. I have a toothbrush and dog tpaste etc but I think it's coming from within the tummy.

Am I being naive in that all dogs have 'dog breath' or can I do anything about it?

Your dog shouldn't have nasty breath and it shouldnt really smell.

My dog has no smell inless he's just eaten and he burps in my face although he was a bit poorly once and it smells like when someone has tonsilitus

Isnt bad breath a sign of gum disease in dogs?

waits for more knowledgeable people to turn up

Thanks Naysa, i was thinking as shes a pup, prob not gum disease? Wondering if its to do with teething, she only lost 2 teeth so far. Anybody else know what it could be?

Problem solved!!! Found a rubber band in her poo this morn Blush how/why she swallowed that or even got hold of one to swallow is unfathomable. Her bad breath is gone, may be a coincidence, but it seems a likely explanation, as that was certainly indigestible.

Mad puppy, she doesn't normally eat strange things, she chews and bites but won't even swallow certain treats if she doesn't like them, so who knows!?!
