Stinky massive dog bed

DDog got a new bed for Christmas. It's a huge, padded basket shaped affair. He loves it.

It stinks to high heaven. How on earth do I get it clean? Won't fit in the washing machine!

It's more of a don't I'm afraid but steer well clear of febreze pet. It's hopeless.

Otherwise, no idea. This is why I buy with washable covers

No idea I'm afraid. Mine sleep on a single bed mattress topped with a duvet, in the Utility roon and you can smell it from the kitchen. I dragged it out into the garden in the summer to air it out, which did nothing much really. Pet Febreeze is crap too.

Sorry I was utterly no use at all but will be checking the thread in the hope that so eone has some great ideas.

As a new fan of white vinegar, I wonder if spraying it with a mixture of vinegar and water might help?
