Pup is 15 weeks and on nature diet wet food . We wanted to change her to a dry food and yesterday picked up some lathams turkey and rice puppy food . Put a little in her dinner last night and have been putting it with her food today with a little less wet food .

She seems to be doing more Poos and they are a bit runny. Is this normal when changing food or should we try something else.? If so what would people recommend as we don't want to waste money on food that's going to play her up.

I have found I have to go really slowly with my pup. I make the change over two to three weeks. When I finally found a food that suited there was no runny poo during switch over but I still took it very slowly as he is very sensitive.

We switched from eukanuba which he came on to JWB which had him passing pure liquid went back to eukanuba and then tried Wainwrights which caused progressively worsening runs.

He is now on Arden Grange and for the first time in the 6 months of his life has reliably firm, dry and less smelly poo! I have noticed he does about a third of the amount he used to aswell.

I think it is trial and error as to what suits each dig though.
