Does anyone use a 'Non Pull' dog harness?

I have read really good reviews for this, so if anyone has experience I would love to hear. Also, recommendations on size. I have looked at the size guide an measured dog's chest, and it says I need a large, I was expecting medium. He is a lab/collie/pointer and 6months old.

No experience as yet but I fancy one for my German shepherd, also just about to get an Irish setter pup and I've read that they are recommended for the breed.
Is it halti ones you are looking at?

I have one, she still pulls a lot! Either get a dogmatic face harness (which I haven't used but have heard good things about) or train not to pull. I just use collar after going on a lead walking workshop, it's helped a lot. She's definitely worse with the harness.

I have tried a Halti face collar, but he can get it off, and I worry about it putting pressure under his eyes. I use a normal harness at the moment, but need a new one as he has grown so much and the less pulling the better. I am training him not to pull, and he is getting better, but still not great! This one is called a 'Non Pull' harness made by Sporn.

Flynn has the sporn non pull harness, it was useless to stop him pulling, which was a shame as it is so easy to put on.

Ended up using a front attached harness which was much better.

I tried numerous non pull harnesses as my terrier can't be walked on a collar for medical reasons . I never found one that worked ,even the ones with front attachment , fortunately he is much better on his lead now and I can walk him in a Doxlock harness quite nicely. One of them that we tried( maybe the halti) had a small metal disc that sits on the back , and we found that however we adjusted it that after a couple of walks it had rubbed the hair off his back so we had to stop using it , although it did leave a lovely clear patch to put the advocate on! Mine does walk nicely in a canny collar which worked better for us than a normal headcollar .

I went ahead and bought the non-pull harness, and have just tried first walk with it. AND he still tried to pull, BUT not nearly as much as normal and not with as much strength as normal. So, I think with the continued training it may be the one for us! The woman in the pet shop recommended the canny collar to me, and I was tempted, as she did a good sales pitch, but decided to try the harness first (it looks more comfy for ddog than some!).
