Pup - cracked paws

Just noticed permapup has cracked paws. Is this the grit, salt and snow causing it? What can I do?

Anyone? It's the pads that are cracked.

Not sure exactly but my sisters dogs had this problem and had to get cream from the vets. Also making sure their feet were washed after walks to stop grit and salt from drying out the pads.
