I had a foster about 10 months ago, just before LittleDog. He stayed with us for a month. He is a lovely little thing, we sent him off to his forever home nice and happy.
Apparently his "forever" owners decided they would actually undo every second of work I did with him and for the last 2 months he has been living outside. Actually living out there the whole time.

This is due to him "snapping" at their teenage child.

So, he's coming back here. I get the feeling he may be here for a long time.

I'm mad aren't I?

I know I am, someone please come and tell me this will be ok?
That he will be just fine, and easy to train, and fit right back in?

I've just called my boss and told her that I have a new dog coming into work with me if that's ok. She laughed. Hysterically.

He's just so lovely though, but I think we would struggle finding him a forever home ATM as he is pretty much untrained, scared and apparently aggressive.

He's coming at 8pm.

Wish me luck.

He's a staffie/boxer cross.

He is actually adorable but I think he is going to take a lot of work.

The dog is very lucky to be able to come back to you. Poor thing, living outside for two months in this weather! The family should have taken steps to train him better.

It sounds like you have your work cut out, but if he is just badly behaved (and not fearful) then you can get results very quickly with lots of positive reinforcement. Do keep us posted on how it all goes!

Good thing he came across you. Like the sound of a boss like yours too.

My boss has 4 dogs that come into work as well.

It's lovely, they all play together.

Well, he is here Grin

LittleDog is fascinated by him. He keeps walking up to him and then running away.
NewDog is now in his old "safe place" under the stairs. He is a bit nervous. But ok.
Ill take him out for a walk first in the morning, I don't want to try walking all 3 together as LittleDog is a bit, well, excitable.

Aah I'm glad he is here. He is very thin and needs a bath and a cuddle.

Wishing you all the best with your lovely lost boomerang. Thank goodness he was able to come back to you after only a relatively short time.

Good luck with boomerang dog. Amazing what differences to a dog the owners make, nature and nurture etc. I hope it works out.

God, I stood on my puppies foot last night while out for a little trot and he yelped like mad - I felt like the worst owner in the world!!

Good luck again Smile
