If you use a dog walker please check conditions of their transport

DH just phoned me (he is at work).

He was walking past a dog walking service van (Walkies or something like that).

Inside the dogs were 3 to a cage and there was 'shit everywhere.

We are not dog owners, but dog lovers. He asked me to post on here.

God, how horrid.

I think we're lucky that our dog walker keeps her van immaculate because she hates the smell of dog!!!

Mind you, I wonder why on earth there was shit in the cages. My dog wouldn't poo in a crate, or even indoors, and I don't think most would if they were housetrained. Unless of course one of them was sick ...??

DH was shocked too, he has had many dogs over the years and they all try to hold it until they get outside to preferred spots if possible.

I could only think it was either distress or illness :(
