Our new puppy has Parvo.

I posted on here last week that we were getting a puppy from a local rescue. My first pup after many years of taking on older problem rescues.

We picked him up on Thursday and he was fine, yesterday was sick and lethargic We went to vets last night and again this morning as still not right and the vet had confirmed it us Parvovirus.

Now he is in the vets on a drip, just waiting. Odds are 60/40 so the vet said. He is such a good puppy, despite being only 11 weeks and feeling poorly, he still asked to go out to pee and poo.

Another in the litter has been confirmed positive for Parvo today.

I'm really sorry to hear this. It sounds like you're already told the rescue, since you know of another from the litter. Your poor little pup. At least he is in the best place for them to take care of him. I'll be thinking of him and hope that he pulls through.

Poor pup, i hope he pulls through , we have been looking to rescue a dog or pup and i have noticed with several of the rescue centers that they have poorly dogs that have come down with parvo .

I hope he's better soon. Lots of luck to him.

I have everything crossed for him. Such a cruel disease.
