Yesterday in the Times there was a wonderful article about how specially trained 'trauma' dogs are being used to help the children in Conneticut.
So nice to see a pro-dogs article and reinforces my belief that in certain cases the non-judgemental support of an animal is better than any human.

There was a thread a little while ago about a boy reading to a dog in school, I said to my husband that our dog would be a good listener ,I may have to volunteer him.

My DS's school has a reading with a dog scheme! He hasn't had a go yet but it sounds good. Will have to get him reading to the puppy Grin
