Advice for elderly lady

My 16 year old retriever cross has started to wet her bed - I'm pretty sure she's doing it in her sleep as when awake she will ask to go out.
Vet has given antibiotics, now finished, as well as all usual tests - all clear, and no diabetes..... I wake her up during the night to take her out but it's still happening - also restricting water intake late on and before we go out
Is there anything else anyone can suggest? She's still so happy and , for her age, healthy....Is it just age and one of those things?

Has she been spayed? This happened to our old lab. Our vet gave us a medicine that we put on her food every night which tightened the muscles up again. I think it's quite common in older bitches. Maybe that's it?

My dog started weeting in his sleep initially, he had nerve damage due to spinal degeneration, the nerves to his bladder were affected. For his last year he pretty much leaked all the time, but for a year or so before that it was only when sleeping, and he was put on meds which did help. Does your lab have arthritic hips or anything like that?

Oh that should have read weeing, not weeting. (is that between a tweet and a wee?)
